Cellulase

Cellulase enzyme can be used in  commercial food processing , textile and household cleaning and the pulp and paper industry. Cellulase enzymes has also been used for biofuel production.

Product Description

Brief introduction

Cellulases are extremely important enzymes both industrially and in the natural world, because they play a major role in the global carbon cycle by degrading insoluble cellulose to soluble sugars.

Spatial arrangement of cellulose hemicellulose and lignin in the cell walls of lignocellulosic biomass.

The enzymes includes three enzymes such as β-1,4-endoglucanase, cellobiohydrolase, and β-glucosidase . Cellulases are produced by bacteria and fungi . Microbial cellulases are produced from fungi especially Aspergillus nigerAspergillus nidulans, and Aspergillus oryzae .

Cellulase enzyme is counted amongst the most important types of enzymes, catalyzing cellulolysis, the decomposition of cellulose of some related polysaccharides. It can be used in many fields, such as commercial food processing and also in non-food industries like textile and household cleaning. It also has a long history of use in the pulp and paper industry. Cellulase enzymes has also been used for biofuel production. Being one of the most important types of enzymes it also helps in catalyzing cellulolysis, the decomposition of cellulose, and of some related polysaccharides. Related Reading >>>

Function

1. To effectively hydrolyze the anti-nutritional factors such as cellulose, arabinoxylan, beta-glucan, and pectin in plant feed material through breaking down plant cell walls and reducing viscosity of digesta.

2. To promote the release of nutrients from feedstuff and feed conversion rate.

3. To enhance the secretion of endogenous enzymes and digestion and absorption of nutrients.

4. To improve the immunity and anti-stress performance of animals.

Mechanism

Catalyses the endohydrolysis of (1→4)-β-D-glucosidic linkages in cellulose, lichenin and cereal β-D-glucans.

Specialty

No residue and environmental pollution.

Application

It should be added into feedstuff for swine, poultry, ruminants and other animals.
