Tributyrin

Tributyrin is used as Functional Feed Additive Solutions. It is an ester composed of butyric acid and glycerol, made from the esterification of butyric acid and glycerol. It is mainly used in Feed Application.

When Tributyrin enters the intestinal tract of animals as a feed additive, it can be slowly released into butyric acid and glycerol under the action of pancreatic lipase. Tributyrin can repair the small intestinal villi of animals and inhibit the intestinal harmful bacteria, which is a great benefit in the Livestock industry. Tributyrin can also promote and improve the absorption and utilization of nutrients. It also increases the survival rate and causes daily weight gain of young animals. Related Reading >>>
